Best Approach

Walk Walk Walk … and again walk

Walk around and discover the city. Get lost a bit and enjoy the small back streets, the charm of the Roman atmosphere.

At Quodlibet bed and breakfast you are right in the center of the city, and from our location you don’t really need any mandatory public transportation.

Just for an early morning tour or booked entrance tickets on the other side of the city centre, you might need to use the Metro (Subway Line “A”) that you find just a block away from our location. Maybe late at night, after a dinner in another area of Rome, you might want to use a night bus … but other than that, just walk.

Rome is a safe city (almost no micro-criminality in our area) so “use” it even late at night or very early in the morning.

So the best approach for Rome is an “easy going one”, walk around, do not put too many things to do each day, and the discover the thousands of things to see around in the city.

The only thing you might consider is booking ahead of time the real bottle necks in the city (the sites that are always very busy and could be time consuming in terms of queues and crowds). So definitely go on-line and make your booking for the Vatican Museums and the Coliseum. Other than that, everything is easy!
