Before booking, check out if we meet your ideal accommodation while in Rome: check if we offer the comfort your like, the type of hospitality you prefer to find, the location that better suites your needs, if we have the amenities you want, and if we offer the service you expect to have from a property like ours. We mostly want to meet your expectations once you arrive here at our place.
Check what other people say about us, and please , before booking or before closing this website, compare the prices between our property, the level of quality offered, and other properties like ours in Rome.
Check if the other property you think about booking is directly managed by their owners, if you are going to meet anybody who can help you a bit during your stay or if you are left completely alone, which floor the rooms are located, if the street is airy, quiet, if the breakfast is served or if breakfast is left in the kitchen for you to do it yourself, if it is prepared or if it consists of pre-packed industrial produces….
We do not want to say that we are the best possible option among bed and breakfast and guest houses in Rome, because there are many other equally nice and well managed, but we want to outline the fact that many times, in Rome, spending less, doesn’t mean doing big deal. You can pay a bit more on the room price but then you save on transportation, on time (which is precious when you spend a lot of money to pay a plane to reach our city), you save on food choosing the right restaurants, on the choice of the right museums or the guided tours, on the extra you have to pay to buy a second breakfast somewhere in the city because the “typical Italian breakfast” was “nothing” for you.
Would you like to know what we think about our property? We think we are not a fancy place, not a place for people who like formal or extra chic (and a bit snobbish) places, but we satisfied even the most picky ones. We run a place where we offer the basics of the excellence in hospitality trying to pay attention – day by day – to all our guests needs and following all their necessities. Comfortable and nice cheerful rooms, with super comfortable beds, a very quiet and relaxed homy atmosphere, perfectly working ample bathrooms in each room, of course all the modern amenities you expect to find from an high starred hotel room, a nice outdoor space, all our passion and our constant presence. We work in the hospitality since 1998, and we are day after day more passionate with our job. You will see us when you need us, and you won’t see us when you need your privacy, and the quietness of being in your own home away from home.

BluebirdGal wrote on Tripadvisor on October 25 2019We had a truly wonderful stay at the Quodlibet in September. Our room was spacious, clean, and quiet. The breakfasts on the lovely rooftop patio were delicious and plentiful (I particularly loved the pastries from the 24-hr bakery downstairs!!). The patio was also a lovely spot to enjoy a glass of wine in the evening after a full day of sightseeing.
However, it was their personal touches and professionalism that made all the difference! As others have noted, when we checked in, Gianluca sat down with us and patiently mapped out everything — restaurants, attractions, metro stops, etc. We absolutely wore that map out. They also served our breakfast to us early on those mornings where we had to leave before the normal breakfast hours. And on the morning of our departure, Gianluca saved the day for us. I had made arrangements on my own prior to arriving in Rome for a car service to take us to the airport. Well, Gianluca, waited patiently with us that morning to make sure the car would arrive, and when it didn’t (!), he quickly and efficiently called a taxi. That kind of service is special indeed.
We loved our time in Rome and, in particular, our stay at the Quodlibet. We can’t wait to go back!!
