Quodlibet journeys

At QuodLibet, hospitality has never been limited to rooms, keys, or addresses.
Over time, Connie and Gianluca have chosen to extend their idea of welcoming by sharing something more personal: their knowledge of the territory, and above all of the landscapes surrounding Rome.

QuodLibet Journeys was born from this desire.
An occasional, carefully curated service through which our guests may be accompanied in the discovery of places with a strong sense of character—often overlooked, sometimes famous, always meaningful. Destinations that sit just beyond the usual tourist routes, where it is still possible to feel that quiet, rare sensation of saying “I was there”.

Some journeys lead to lesser-known places, far from the crowds.
Others touch iconic destinations, approached from a different angle, at a different pace. What matters is not only the place itself, but the way it is reached: the road, the pauses along the way, the unexpected stop, a local table, a landscape that invites silence.

These are journeys inspired by the idea of a gita fuori porta—a day out of the city—where the rhythm is calm, the itinerary flexible, and the experience shaped by curiosity rather than by checklists. Travel becomes part of the experience, and discovery unfolds naturally, through flavors, conversations, and moments that cannot be planned in advance.

QuodLibet Journeys is built around the idea of secret places: not secret because they are hidden, but because they do not wish to be for everyone. They are meant for travellers who are curious, open to interaction—with the places they visit, with the people who live there, and with the stories that give those places their soul.

At its heart, this project reflects a simple but profound idea:
the pleasure of sharing one’s own world with someone who has come from far away.
That pleasure has a name. It is called hospitality.
