Hi, I’m Gianluca.
I studied cultural anthropology, and I’ve always been fascinated by the different ways people live, move, and experience a place.
Rome is not only my city – it’s the environment I love observing, understanding, and sharing through these small stories.
Together with my wife Connie, we host travellers in our small hotel near the Vatican, where we enjoy meeting people from all over the world and exchanging perspectives – just as I do here in the blog.
If you ever feel like saying hello while exploring Rome, you’ll find us on our terrace as well, where every morning we serve breakfast with a view.

We have published under our domain www.quodlibetroma.com the new version of our website.
We intend to be more informative, more interactive, and more up to dated with the new technologies and new trends of the web. Even if the old website has followed our B&B since its very beginning in 2011, now it was time to change.
After 9 weeks of testing … our new website is still work in progress, with a few sections still to finish, and translations to other languages (including Italian!) to be added, but it was time for it to go anyway .
As for most of the things here at QuodLibet, it an “home-made” thing, so forgive us if we are not at the top! We simply did our best …
We hope that the actual visitors and the future ones will like it, and that its visitors will find a good reason to choose (or not to choose!) our property for their stay Rome!
