Which are the post Covid-19 measures we are adopting here at QuodLibet bed and breakfast in Rome? What are we thinking to do if we survive to this thunder-storm brought by the coronavirus?
We plan to start to see again our dear guests from all over the world (as we we ere used to) mostly from the spring of 2021. Now we are waiting for the few guests who are keeping their reservations for the next few months.
In the meanwhile what to do? Just trying to have some new ideas and to re-arrange our schedules and days.
During the lock down period we have been cooking a lot, and we have re discovered the pleasure to prepare stuff like our mums and grand mums did.
Cooking sessions and dinners and aperitifs
So, why don’t we share these abilities with our guests, doing cooking sessions and dinners on a weekly basis on the terrace of our bed and breakfasts in Rome?
We could open a bottle of good wine and have a nice dinner with our home made pasta, or supplì … and so on. We can discuss about the day we spent in the city and eventually planning the day for the next.
At the same time, the other days, just before dinner (between 5:30 and 7:00 Pm) the terrace is a perfect space for an aperitif. A glass of prosecco with a few good snacks to enjoy the fresh air and the green of our terrace before going out for dinner at one of the many trattorias in the area.
Evenings with the history and curiosities about Rome
Two times a week, in the evenings, we are planning to have an orientation session with a very good and entertaining tourist guide who will be giving some info about history Rome, stories about the main characters of its history, and many curiosities.
After a long period of lock down and social distancing, this would be also a nice occasion to socialize.
